I'd like to share a tool I developed that allows AAF import and export from and to Ableton Live. I started this project because I do a lot of composition work in Ableton, which I love, but handoffs meant steams or manual rebuilds. AAF Bridge converts AAF to Live Sets and back. It's sample-accurate, transports markers fades and crossfades, volume and pan automation. MXF-audio is automatically transcoded to wav. It has a crossfade correction option for NLEs / DAWs that map crossfades symetrically on the joint to stay acoustically correct. Collect media option to gather all assets in one movable folder.
