Announcement · from the Ableton DiscordOpen thread

Hey everyone Just released my first Ableton Live Extension: Disintegrative Iterations. A loop, fed back into itself until only a ghost remains. Cumulative tape decay, after Basinski. Each pass eats the previous one — never the original. The material thins, holes open and stay open, the spectrum closes, the tape tears and drifts. What you get back is a continuous recording of the sound undoing itself. Nothing added, no reverb, no noise — everything was already in the source, surfaced and consumed by repetition. Built with the new Ableton Extensions SDK (currently in closed beta). Pay what you want, including free — it's meant to circulate. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ynN8TD434zs https://structurevoid.gumroad.com/l/disintegrative-iterations A tribute to William Basinski and The Disintegration Loops. Happy to hear feedback, ideas, weird use cases. — Julien
