A small dialog previews the suspect notes live in Live's own piano roll as you tune the controls, then mutes them on Apply — non-destructive (nothing deleted, just deactivated), so you review and undo freely. It only touches notes inside the clip's loop in/out region. Layered detection, you pick how aggressive: • Level 1 — velocity + duration: soft + short outliers (the classic brush). • Level 2 — harmonic: a soft note 1–2 semitones from a louder near-simultaneous one, not forming a consonant interval. • Level 3 — learned profile: outliers within the clip's own dynamics. • Use scale (optional): flags weak out-of-key notes; reads root/mode from Live's scale, or set manually. • Held 2nds (optional): catches a wrong note struck together with the right one a 2nd away and held — shorter but not short enough for Level 1. Principle: a false positive is worse than a false negative — it errs toward leaving a slip in rather than muting a real note, and you confirm everything in the preview.
