Description: Right-click any track → pick a freeze point in the device chain → everything to the left gets printed to a new audio track, devices to the right stay live. Beta / Proof of Concept — feedback welcome, expect rough edges. Freeze Point adds partial-freeze to Ableton Live: select exactly where in your device chain the signal gets "baked," keep the rest editable. No more freezing the full chain or bouncing manually. How it works: The current Extensions SDK doesn't expose device on/off or post-FX resampling, so Freeze Point ships with a companion Max for Live device that handles the audio engine. The extension provides the UI (context menu + device chain picker); M4L does the heavy lifting.
