https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyU8-VgknHE Creates an Instrument Rack of multiple Simplers, each with their sample loop length set to a different division of the liveset BPM. Uses Velocity to determine which is currently being triggered. Approx. 1 minute of manual config required post-run, hopefully the SDK will evolve in future to include Warp and Macro mapping. HOW TO USE: Right-click any sample and it builds an Instrument Rack containing multiple Simplers, each with the sample loop point set to a division of the liveset tempo that was in place at runtime. MANUAL STEPS (approx 1 minute) Turn Warp on for each Simpler in the rack. , In the Instrument Rack: Click 'Vel' > right-click anywhere in the velocity-range view > choose "Distribute Ranges Equally." Velocity now selects the stutter length. , Map a macro to 'Start' on one Simpler > right-click the mapping and choose "Map to all siblings". This becomes your scan control. , Map any other macros you want to use in the same way. A bit of Vel < Pan, Release and Filter can help make it sound much more expansive. , Drop a MIDI Effects > Velocity device in front of the rack and play with its Min / Max while a pattern runs (for precise hands on control of loop length per note), and 'Random' (to introduce variation of loop lengths per note). , USAGE: Set up a MIDI pattern, use the macro to scan through the sample until you find something interesting to work with.
