Batch-rename selected tracks by adding a number, prefix and/or suffix — with # numbering, \group / \type tokens, name normalization and a live preview. Download: https://rbld.com.br/audio/downloads/track-number-rename-1.0.0.ablx More Audio Stuff: https://rbld.com.br/audio Adds a "Track Number Rename…" entry to the track context menu. Select tracks, right-click, and compose names from three optional fields: Number — literal field at the name's start. Type # and Live numbers it relative to the Set (#→1, ##→01, ###→001). The classic # - Drums. , Prefix / Suffix — free text around the name. Here # is selection-relative (topmost selected = 1). Tokens: \group (parent group name; dropped if the track has none, e.g. [\group] vanishes) and \type (Audio / MIDI / Return / Master / Group). , Normalization — UPPERCASE / lowercase / Title Case / Sentence case (optionally incl. prefix/suffix), plus an auto-space toggle between segments. , Live preview · Apply (selection) / Apply to all (audio/MIDI/return, Master excluded) / Cancel · one undo for the whole batch · remembers your last recipe. Multi-select: drag a time-selection across track lanes in the Arrangement and right-click inside it. A track-header right-click targets only that one track (the SDK exposes no header selection) — or just use Apply to all. Compatibility: Ableton Extensions SDK beta 1.0.0 · Live 12 Beta (Extensions-capable build). (edited) Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 4:07 AM
